Sage grew up on an organic farm on Virginia's Northern Neck and currently resides in Swoope, Va.

She studied painting, printmaking and art history at Mary Baldwin University. Sage paints abstractly to create works that are expressive yet ambiguous.  Her art is informed by nature, personal experience and an irresistible response to material.
